The Victorian Paper Tiger Catamaran Association (VPTCA) is an incorporated association for Victorian sailors of the Paper Tiger catamaran class.
Current Victorian members of the VPTCA come from yacht clubs such as, McCrae, Elwood and Bendigo. Paper Tigers are also actively sailed at Merricks, Somers, Ballarat, Latrobe Valey and Mount Martha.
There are a number of benefits to being a VPTCA member, including:
- Monthly newsletters
- Annual training weekend (costs $30 for non-members to participate)
- Access to particpate in the VPTCA "Inland Water Series"
- VPTCA contacts for boat parts and fittings
State Titles
The VPTCA holds state titles, at which sailors can choose to compete against others from around the state. The state titles are held at different yacht clubs on an annual basis. Details are usually made available well in advancem and will be posted on this website when available.
National Titles
Members of the VPTCA often compete in the Paper Tiger Catamaran National Titles. The national titles also rotate from state to state on annual basis, with details usually published on the national paper tiger association website: http://aptca.papertigercatamaran.org
